There is a transaction and card fee for Direct Donations which is 1.8%* of the donated amount plus £0.20p. Mangopay charge £0.45p when you make a withdrawal from your Mangopay Wallet. There are no monthly charges and no hidden costs. *This may vary slightly for PayPal and American Express.

Mangopay are the card transaction company who make sure the payments that are taken are secure, they are similar to PayPal.
The wallet is where your donations go, only you can access it and it’s where you withdraw money from it.
No. Once you have created your Mangopay Wallet you receive an email once there are funds in it. At that stage Mangopay will contact you to do security checks to make sure that the wallet is secure and only you can withdraw funds to the Charities or Good Causes designated account, which we will never have access to.
As soon as a direct donation is made by one of your supporters you can withdraw it. When a donation is made through as purchase you can wirthdraw it after 30 days, the reason for this is that Mangopay want to ensure that the item has been delivered and that there are no return issues.
As this stage we are focusing our attention on Charites and Good Causes, its a simple case of the more we have the more attention we will get from the retailers and in turn we can negotaite better deals from them for your supporters.
We will get completed forms to you when donations have been made. Once HMRC approve us we will be able to automate this and claim it on your behalf.
We are open to help as many Charities and Good Causes as possible.
We are currently working with the merchants to populate the market place, at present we plan to “Go Live” in February 2018.
Each fundraising page will have its own specific domain for example www.ibuy2give.co.uk/charlestonscouts also supporters will be able to find you through category and direct searches.
Very much like an online shop with search facilities and categories, people can buy multiple items similar to eBay and Amazon. When they purchase they can choose which Charity or Good cause they want to have the donation made to, or if they have come directly from your fundraising page they will automatically donate to you.
We don’t expect any Charity or Good Cause to change from other platforms and simply assume that ours will be the best. So what we will do is to let you know about our special offers that should be irresistible to a portion of your supporters. If you used social media to let them know, then when they respond you will be tagged and any donations from purchases will be guaranteed to go to you.
Yes they can start their own campaign, for example they may be running a marathon. When this is the case we make checks to make sure that the payment can only go directly to your Good Cause or Charity as the MangoPay wallet can only be in your name.
We never have access to your funds, we can never access your Wallet which is run by MangoPay which is Licensed and regulated by the EU Licensed and Registered Financial Institution. Also when a donation is made to you can withdraw it straight away, donations on purchases you can withdraw after 30 days, the reason for this is so that Mangopay can make sure that the purchase is delivered and there are no return issues.
Any donation is automatically sent to your wallet by Mangopay, it’s their software that does this not ours. MangoPay is Licensed and regulated by the EU Licensed and Registered Financial Institution. We can never have access to your wallet this is strictly controlled by Mangopay. Mangopay will do identity checks to confirm that only you or an appointed authority from your organisation can withdraw funds to your fundraising bank account.
When an individual is doing something such as a marathon or a challenge like climbing a mountain their wallet is directed directly to your fundraising wallet. They will not be able to withdraw any donations to their own bank account.
