Terms and Conditions for Fundraising through iBuy2Give
1. Who we are
The Site is operated by IBuytoGive Limited(“we”, “our” or “us”). The company is registered in England and Wales under company number 09976006 and have our registered office at First floor Offices 69 High Street Stone Staffordshire ST158AD. Our VAT number is GB 233102857
2. Access to the site to Fundraise with us
2.1. To fundraise with us our website you need to be over the age of 18.
2.2. Once you have registered you must keep your registration details. Only one registration per person is allowed
2.3. For a number of different reasons the Site may not be available and or there will be times when part of the site is not accessible to you, we will not be liable if this happens.
2.4. Access to the site is through a password, this is for your and the sites security, either you will make your own or we will give one to you, you must not let any third party know what the password is. It has to be treated as confidential.
2.5. Please don’t pretend to be someone else; you can only register in the Site as yourself. You must not allow anybody apart from yourself to use your account and you must not use anybody else’s account. You must not let anybody else know your password. If you suspect that anybody else has accessed your account you must let us know straight away. Please send us an email to email@example.com
2.6. When we need to contact you we will use the email that you provided us with, please note that you need to keep this updated if you change your email address.
2.7. If, in our opinion, you have failed to comply with these Terms. We reserve the right to restrict or not let you have access to all or some parts of the Site.
3. Your Obligations
3.1. By setting up a fundraising page to agree only forward any funds raised directly to the Charity that you have nominated or Good Cause. For Charities we will only pay directly into the Charities bank account and for a Good cause a verified bank account which is in use for the Good Cause.
3.2. If you are a Charity you authorise us to allow donators to complete forms for the collection of Gift Aid and these will be forwarded to you to claim it.
3.3. We will ask the buyers and donators if we can pass on their direct contact details to you. If they agree then you agree to comply with all relevant data protection and legislation.
3.4. You must not be in any violation of any law or be defamatory, rude, or in breach with any intellectual property rights of any third party.
3.5. If you have a logo or trademark and its uploaded to our site then you are allowing us to display it on the site totally royalty free.
3.6. So that we can pay you, you need to send us bank details which we will check if it directly for a charity and verify of for a standard fundraising campaign. All bank accounts must be with a recognised UK based financial institution.
3.7 Refunds, Any refund requests received from a donor/fundraiser in respect of donations or event fees made to you will be passed to you including any merchant card fees we may incur.
3.8 You allow us to send emails to you on a regular basis to update you with relevant information with regards to our website.
4. IBuytoGive Limited Obligations
4.1. We will donate to your Charity or Good Cause if someone comes from your fundraising or Charity page and purchases anything from our on line shop on www.ibuy2give.co.uk. We will pay you 30 days in arrears from the date of purchase. The reason we do this is so that items are not sent back and we then we don’t claw money back from you (which we don’t). Affiliate sales are paid as and when we get paid by the Affiliate.
4.2. When a donation is paid to you, you will be charged exactly what we are charged by the merchant card company. We will pay the money donated into the designated fundraising account
once a week. Our administration fee is 1%
4.3. Personal details. We will collect, protect and secure all personal details of any fundraisers, buyers or donators in accordance with the data protection act 1998. Any fundraiser that has chosen to pass their personal details onto the site for the purposes of fundraising does so at their own risk and we cannot be held liable for any such disclosure. We will ask the buyer or donator if we can pass on their contact details to you once they have donated or made a purchase.
4.4. You will be provided with access to a password protected secure user account accessible through our website. From here you will be able to produce reports on the details of all the donations and the amount plus details of all purchases and the amount we have donated.
5.1. You authorise us to receive donations for your campaign, and for us to make transfers to the relevant bank account. We will only deduct the merchant card company fee which we have to pay to them. We will only pay in Pounds Sterling
5.2. We can refuse to pay you if we are reasonably satisfied that you are fundraising illegally and being fraudulent.
5.3. If we make any interest on our bank account that holds the money on your behalf until its ready to be released to you, we will use that to improve our service.
6.1. You can terminate your fundraising with us at any time. If we still have any money owing to you from donations or purchases where we donate we will pay that money to you. Just for carination however, we cannot be held responsible for any loss that you may suffer as a result of suspension of the iBuy2give Services.
6.2. We can terminate your campaign with us at any time for any reason. If we do and you still have any money owing to you from donations or purchases where we donate we will pay that money to you. Just for clarification however, we cannot be held responsible for any loss that you may suffer as a result of suspension of the iBuy2give Services.
